Meg Cannistra's latest middle grade book, How to Heal a Gryphon is a treat! It's full of relatable, likable characters (I loved Tia Clementina!), body positivity, and a creative magical system. The Italian setting is just lovely and the voice sparkles. This is perfect for young readers and I'd be interested to see it stretched out into a series.
