I have recently been getting back into reading middle grade books. I was so happy when I received this middle grade fantasy because it sounded like so much fun and like a cute story. I will say it did not disappoint! It was definitely different than anything that I read before and it was a very fast read for me. The writing style was easy to follow along and the font size was larger which made it a quick read. Giada develops this healing power and wants to work with animals and not humans. People frown upon that and she is conflicted on what to do with her powers. She sets off on this amazing journey to become confident in who she is and what she wants to do for the rest of her life. I thought this was such a cute aspect to the story and I loved the connections between Giada and the animals that she is working with. There is something special about this book that I just cant explain but you need to read it if you like middle grade and fantasy!
