I am super excited to dive into this historical fiction. While plenty historical fiction has been written about the Civil War, I feel like this is a new (at least to me) perspective taking place in Cuba. I also always enjoy historical fiction that involves mystery of some sort, and the added romance will truly reach a wide spectrum of readers.
