I absolutely loved this one. From the cover to the story itself I couldn’t pull myself away. I’m a huge history buff and love reading books from the period. It was if not still the most consequential time in our nation’s history. There are of course many stories that cover the period during the civil war but there are far fewer stories that cover the period at the end and after the war.
