Where to start, first, the cover is gorgeous, immediately let your mind dive into the world Lloyd has created. Second, the writing in the book is phenomenal. Sometimes historical fiction can get overwhelming and boring with the details but Lloyd has taken this story and laid it out perfectly. Feels like you are right there on the boat with Townsend and his crew. I can't wait to read this book!!!
