I’m not sure about this one and whether or not I’ll keep reading. This is an interesting story and setting, but I’m just really not interested in reading a story about a character whose family is involved in slavery, even if the character is disgusted by it. The generational wealth that someone made off of that evil is just too much for me to get over, I think.
