This isn't a genre I generally read. Neither the blurb nor the sample caught my attention and pulled me in or made me interested in reading more. The writing felt a bit dry. The cover image is okay, but I'm not sure it'd catch my eye in the bookstore. I prefer images that take up the full cover.
