At first glance, I thought this was a literary fiction / historical fiction; I seem to be right on the money. The cover suggests this genre and the synopsis is accurate in that regard. I think this first impression was a breath of fresh air for hisfic readers. I like the cover quite a bit and the writing style is mature and engaging. I enjoyed the brief synopsis and would give this full book a go if possible.
