Everyone has heard of the saying, "Don't judge a book by its cover." Boy, does that apply to me with regards to "Hidden Cargo"! I was so captivated by the book cover and just felt that the novel would be amazing. I was certainly not disappointed. The "First Look" of "Hidden Cargo" was so well written. Mr. Lloyd certainly has a talent for describing his characters, plot and setting. My favorite genre is historical fiction and this appears to be a novel that will continue holding my interest from the first page to the last. I look forward to seeing how Lieutenant Everett Townsend's adventure continues to unfold. Honestly, if I had sufficient Bookishfirst points, I would have used them to guarantee a copy of this novel.
