Just from looking at the cover, I could tell this book isn’t my usual first choice read. After reading the synopsis, my suspicions were confirmed and the book is historical fiction which is a genre I usually steer away from. Upon reading the first look, I could tell it’s a very well written and engaging book, just not for me.
