I know this book is not for me, but I do think it has great appeal to many other readers. Hidden Cargo is a historical novel taking place shortly after the end of the Civil War. Our MC seems a little hesitant with his roll in the Navy, but I feel like he is a good protagonist. I feel like the writing is very dense. It does a great job of providing details but I find my mind wandering a bit while trying to read it.
