I couldn't really get into the writing in this book. I don't think it's bad, but it also doesn't do anything particularly interesting. Too many adjectives used, I think. It bloated the sentences. The dialogue felt kind of wooden too.
The included maps and illustrations are a nice touch, and the cover is nice as well.
