Is it too soon to start writing and publishing books about the covid-19 pandemic? No! Chandler Baker and Wesley King take a horrific global pandemic and give it human faces in Max and Jonah, two people meeting on the eve of the shelter-in-place order. Their initial banter in the first chapter is playful but you can sense the tension and anxiety immediately in Jonah as he's trying to legal barter with Max for, of all things, toilet paper!

The second, and alternating perspective, chapter reveals more of Jonah's GAD (generalized anxiety disorder) which can be relatable to so many people in today's world. His sister Olivia helps him locate her, and they are able to connect through her shopping service job, allowing him to keep his distance, per the pandemic and his anxiety.

This book will be relatable to so many readers because they will be able to see themselves in the characters, as they are going through the same thing the readers were experiencing just a year and a half ago. I would be really interested in reading how their relationship evolves further into the book and how they navigate the pandemic and what they experience together.
