As a healthcare worker, I'm incredibly skeptical of pandemic-related storytelling, but on seeing that this book would 1) handle the experiences of an essential worker, and 2) deal with anxiety disorders (which I have grappled with extensively over the pandemic), I gave the first look a shot and am hooked! I really like the characters, the wit of their interactions and their chemistry, and I am totally charmed and intrigued. I really identified with Jonah's cycle of panic attacks-- setting off an attack because you are afraid of having another one.
