I like this so far. The characters are great, the writing is decent, and the experience is definitely relatable. Max is a teenage girl from the working class side of life, and has taken a job as a personal shopper to save for her college education. Full of biting sarcasm and wit, she is an unlikely match for Jonah, the sheltered local rich boy who suffers from a plethora of anxiety disorders. When they meet in the crowded grocery store over a disagreement on toilet paper, sparks fly and Jonah devises a way to find out more about Max. This is a cute love story, and with the added stresses of modern day problems. May also give you flashbacks about shopping during COVID and the shelter in place orders.
