I have been waiting for this one for a long time! It is still a sore spot being about the Covid-19 pandemic since we are still very much suffering in this pandemic. I have never seen the world like it has been during this time. Just as said in the book you go shopping but you may as well not go because everything you may need is completely gone. There may even be dust on the shelf where the toilet paper or hand sanitizer was because it was bought out so quickly. I love Max. She is a wonderful lead character and reminds me of myself. I love how quick witted and sarcastic she is. I love that Jonah lets his sister "stalk" Max so that he can see her again. It is semi-creepy, but I think it is romantic for him to try to see her again because he felt a connection with her. It seems like something that isn't really done anymore. I can't wait to read more of the story!
