When I read the synopsis of this book and discovered that the story would be about two teens who fall for each other during the pandemic, I was so excited. Everyone in the world has been through so much since the pandemic and the ensuing quarantine began, so this story is especially relevant. I like how witty the two main characters, Max and Jonah, are and their romance is definitely interesting and thought provoking. I thought that the first chapter was just okay, but the story definitely got better and more complex the more I read. I think the cover is a great reflection of the synopsis of the novel and I love the dark blue tones that are used. I want to read more of this novel because I want to see what will happen to Max and Jonah’s relationship, and how much of an impact quarantine will have on it.
