My first thought upon reading the summary was “is this too soon?” Honestly, yes and no. Initially, I was skeptical about the whole Covid storyline. Coupled with the fact that it came with a literal warning label for anxiety, and I was a little less than enthusiastic. All that being said, this first look was a good one. A meet-cute YA story is never a bad thing, and this one definitely has a modern lens that literally everybody reading this book has looked (and is still looking) through. I enjoyed the characters and their interactions but I can understand how some may think Jonah is bordering on stalker. For the sake a really good first look, I hope he turns out to be fairly normal.
