The story of Maxine and Jonah drew me in immediately as they struggled to deal with so many traumatic events as the country was preparing for a lockdown caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. The first impression had some funny parts, but also was deep, intense and realistic. The character development was good and I would like to read more.
