It's not bad!

The fact that this book is set in the first wave of COVID definitely weirded me out a bit, simply because we are still living in it. But the humor of the book made it easy to digest. The beginning felt a little forced, but once I got into the heads of both characters, it was a lot better. I just hope that the book treats COVID as a serious topic and doesn't just make it a backdrop.

I also am really interested in seeing what happens to the characters. Max and Jonah both have well-rounded personalities. The dynamics of Jonah and his family and his mental health pulled me in.

The cover is extremely pretty too! And I appreciated the content warnings in the beginning of the book. - lindsey
