While I, like Max, would be highly skeptical of a boy I met once wanting my phone number and texting me regularly, I can't help but be drawn in by Jonah's adorable charm. The juxtaposition between Max being poor and an essential worker, and Jonah being rich, but suffering from anxiety makes the story relatable on multiple levels and makes it feel fresh even though it wasn't that long ago that we were all surviving quarantine.
