Wow does this book start with a powerful hook. A murder gone wrong within a family, intriguing! This first excerpt was not what I was expecting based on the cover art for this book. I was pleasantly surprised with the plot and presumed themes of the book. So far it’s being told largely from inside a prison and court system in Zimbabwe. I really like books like this that are told from multiple perspectives. Especially in something like a criminal case when there are so many stories to be told. This seems like a really intriguing book and I love that it is a diverse story as well.
