I am one of those unfortunate readers who gets very hung up on "improper" grammar usage, and there is a lot of in this book. I understand that the characters aren't native English speakers, so there will be idiosyncrasies in their language, but it's so distracting to me that I'm unable to keep up with what's actually happening in the book.
