What to do when hangry...

So, this is an interesting concept for a book. Hanger Management: Master Your Hunger and Improve Your Mood, Mind, and Relationships by Dr. Susan Albers takes on a challenge that I believe everyone has experienced - that combination of being hungry plus angry, being hangry.

I will be honest that I was mostly intrigued by how this could make a book-length topic versus being an article about making sure to eat at appropriate intervals and to eat the "right" kinds of foods. For example, do not eat simple carbs, or your blood sugar will crash.

So, I went into the book a bit skeptical. I did pick up some interesting information from the book. The diagrams and focus on mindful eating were helpful. And, if I learn something, I consider having picked up a book a success. I do think my initial hypothesis was correct though and wonder if most readers will find all of the content necessary.
