What better time to reconsider your relationship with food than when you're thrust into new routines? Your body is learning new things anyway, so you might as well teach it to consume in different ways while you're at it.
My 9 year old is effected by hanger a LOT. Since I've been working from home this summer during the pandemic, he's in charge of getting his own meals so I can get through Zoom calls. He doesn't always remember to eat, and I can't remind him during the middle of a work meeting.
While a fourth grader was not necessarily the audience the author had in mind while writing her book, mine will definitely benefit from the knowledge imparted through the book. We'll work to get more protein into his diet!
