I believe those of us who have emotional 'hanger' swings really do become 'regretFULL' and the author has an engaging way of offering real-world examples to help readers. Her style is personable and non-judgmental, making me speed through an ARC of this book. I've long struggled with hanger and until fairly recently didn't realize it was at the root of many of my emotional triggers. I've really embraced the science behind hanger and have started to make personal changes. It's been a revelation to understand how we nourish (and sometimes starve) our brains! Recommended read for anyone interested in how food is far more than calories and how we need to feed our whole body properly, including the brain and our own psychology.
