This was an easy, surprisingly enjoyable read with a lot of useful tips on how to eat more mindfully. I plan to go back to it armed with sticky tabs to mark particularly relevant passages and tips.

The first section is devoted to all of the traps and habits that can trip you up and lead to hanger. Each is illustrated with a story. In some ways this is good, because it gives concrete examples, but it also gets a little repetitive and just long.

The second section dives into Albers' solution to hanger: mindful eating. There are illustrative stories and numerous tips to help one achieve mindful eating. In some ways I'd heard a lot of them before, but I found it more impactful to have them all collected in one place so that I really had to think about what it means to eat mindfully.
