This book was written well and interesting, it just was not the type of book I enjoy diving into. It wound you through the history of bank street and all the characters that came and went along the way. Donna has lived such a full life so far, she has really seen it all. Her stories are insightful and entertaining. I would love to have experienced bank street back in its day. The thing I wish was that the stories were more connected. It read like small books within one that held the same thing. I enjoy building relationships but it felt the only mainstay was her. Still a cool book that outlines the history of New York City and the evolution over the years. Quite some famous people and crazy stories contained in this book. She has lived more in her life than most people would be able to in a lifetime and she showcases her experiences well in this book.
