Seems like a sweet read about growing up in New York City, accessing the inner life of this metropolis. Having lived in NY, I cant help but think this is a bygone era, and wonder if that sort of community could still exist. Seems like a time travel, a nostaligic take to a city that is still there, but isn't at the same time.
