New York City is a transient city with its population and neighborhoods constantly shifting with the passage of time. Donna Florio, therefore, offers a unique perspective as a lifelong resident of NYC's West Village, specifically Greenwich Village. Her writing is both engaging and eloquent. I look forward to reading the rest of her memoir about life in the city.
