I really enjoyed reading this book! I loved Hudson's character and will to be independent and responsible. I liked how his job became so much more to him, more like a part of his life. Alana is a jerk, and Fritzy is awesome! I didn't like how Alana basically used Hudson just because he was nice guy and she knew that he liked her. I liked how Mr. Pirkle wasn't quite as crazy as the readers are made to believe he is and that he finally admitted when he needed help. I liked that the chapters were short and that the chapter titles were the beginning of the first sentence of each chapter. It gave readers a good idea of what each chapter would include. Based on the summary of the book, I thought that the father's death would have been shown as more impactful on Hudson and his character. All in all, a very good read!
