I loved every word of this sneak peek and can't wait to read the entire book! The characters and setting were so true to life and real. I so appreciate a book about teens where the teens voice feels authentic and genuine. There's nothing worse than a YA book written in an adult voice trying to sound like how they think a teen speaks. This book feels like a winner on all fronts! Situations that are relatable, characters that are authentic and familiar, set against the backdrop of school and family. No matter if you were a teen decades ago, or are currently one, I think this story has something for everyone. As a librarian, this will definitely be one I'll be recommending to both teens and adults. A winner!
