This book is called, "Going places". Everyone thinks this fourth grader named Hudson will go places. It does not go as it seems. His father was battling the war in Iraq and died in combat battle. It is sad his dad died. In the end it doesn't really matter cause everyone dies in the end. Everything goes down hill after that happens to Hudson's father. He feels like nothing is looking up really at all when it happened. It now been a year since his father passed away in the battle of Iraq. Once you reach rock bottom there is only one way left to go and that's up. It is a quote that has an amazing meaning behind it. No matter what happens things will get better. Everyone says it but not everyone listens to it.
