Hudson is definitely one of those characters who is going to have a journey that captures the reader's interest. I don't know if I have read any YA books that have protagonists who were home schooled, at least not in the way that Hudson's experience appears to be, and I think that that's a very original idea. His voice seems genuine and I feel like his story is going to be relatable to the audience.
