This seems like it's shaping up to be a really cute, heartfelt, funny story. I find the concept intriguing, and the voice to be genuine. Hudson immediately came off as a well-rounded, interesting character that seems kind, awkward, and determined. From the start, you are introduced to the pain in his life that he has tried to move past, and it gives you a bit of sympathy for the character right at the beginning, and it continues on to the last page because he seems to be a likable guy. I look forward to finding out how Hudson's senior year goes!
