I really want to read this book. Hudson has had more than his share of challenges, since the 5th grade his life has been full of high expectations then he loses his father to the war in Iraq. Now he has senior year to looming and he convinces his mom he should be home schooled. I loved how he convinced her with laying out his reasons in an email, then the negotiating back and forth. I also look forward to learning how he manages his two "businesses", writing a graphic novel and a possible romance. I also really like how the author makes Hudson an average kid and not some hotshot athlete or brainiac.
