First off I'll start by saying that I love that cover. And now for my first impression, we finally have a book about a homeschooler!!! So far I'm liking the protagonist, he's smart and wants a better education than the school can give him. He's started two businesses and he wants to become an illustrator. I'm really loving the story so far and I would want to read more because I want to see how he handles the responsibility of educating himself and if Alana actually takes him up on his offer.
