Admitted curious what comes after "can you make it in ten"

I like the voice, and that's usually my first criteria when reading in first person. Hud (yes, I called him that) is endearing enough. It has a more lighthearted feel than I expected. I have to say, I'm a bit curious what will come of his "business endeavors" and since his interactions with Gus and Alana made it a lot interesting, I'm not sure how it will be when he's homeschooled. It sounds good - I just have this middle grade feeling about it because the cover makes me think of Dr. Seuss's book "Oh, the Places You'll Go!"
