Wow! Sci-Fi / Fantasy at it's Finest!

Andra was supposed to be asleep for 100 years and wake up on a new planet, but upon waking up, she finds that she's been asleep for 1000 years and that the world is very different than she expected it to be. And everyone is calling her a Goddess. Having read the preview excerpt, I absolutely loved the first few chapters of 'The Goddess in the Machine'! This book had a lot of cool sci-fi concepts and worldbuilding to introduce the reader to very quickly and managed to do so in a seamless and perfect way (something many books can't pull off). Andra is a compelling protagonist and the story hooked me in immediately. I thought that the whole concept of the story was absolutely fascinating and I'm looking forward to seeing how Andra deals with the extraordinary circumstances she finds herself in. I also really liked the writing style - especially when it came to things like Andra trying to make sense of the world and language around her. In addition, flashbacks and important information for the reader were woven in in a way that made total sense. I LOVED the world of 'Goddess in the Machine' and I can't wait to read the whole book when it comes out! Super excited!!!
