I think this definitely has the premises of being an amazing book. It seems unique to the sci-fi genre, and pulled you in immediately. It's definitely an interesting concept, especially because the aspects involving space travel to other planets aren't completely far-fetched.
The characters seem like they will develop well throughout the book, Zhane especially, i want to know his ulterior motives and plans. Andrea is a bit of a mystery, but itll be interesting to see how she reacts and changes throughout the book. Wead is another blank spot, especially with that cliffhanger and how he might react.
The bits of slang in this book are a bit confusing, but I'm glad they're there because they really convey the idea that the world has changed. I'm really excited to see where this book ends up going!
