I had put this book on my TBR list because of how many good things I had heard about it through bookstagram and the beautiful cover of this book. I actually had no idea what to think about this book before I started reading but I was amazed by the amount of detail that Lora Beth had put in the story.
1. Lora Beath created a whole new language based on the English language. I mean how cool is that? That brought into mind that in 5o years or more, future generations will have their own slangs and different words to use to mean something else.
2. The whole futuristic plot was sooooo interesting. The book explores how life on Earth will struggle once global warming has increased so much that the entire landscape of Earth changes. It's mindblowing how Lora Beth took a concept that we all are facing in life right now and merged it with her ideas.
3. This book was really good but it did have some cons. For example, the advanced language that Lora Beth had created troubled me a lot which caused me to no understand what was going on in the story most of the time. My other con was that the beginning was too slow for me but once you're nearly halfway through the book, then that's where all the major plot twists and jaw-dropping events happen.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it. But beware of the HUGE plot twists right near the end of the book! My mind is still spinning from that huge life-altering twist for Andra!
