This was a bit odd but it made me think and it felt very real. By starting off with the main character waking up after such a long sleep and talking about how it felt made this all the more real. This type of thing has become normalized in science fiction that I often think about it so the realities of this made me connect with the story immediately. The dialogue was also very good. It felt very organic and as though two people were really talking. I could hear inflections and everything. And that only happens with a good book. Otherwise I am reminded of the teacher in Ferris Bueller's Day Off and I can’t get into the story. The cover is fantastic. The character has such expression that I feel her energy.
