Not my cup of tea...

The cover of the book and its title intrigued me, and I clicked.

At first glance, the first line of the synopsis was like almost every other book I've read; Aurora Rising.

However, reading further into the synopsis, that's where the flavour changes.

The concept is interesting, but not quite my cup of tea.

However, the style of writing, intense from the get-go as the author begins to describe Andromeda as she drowns captured my attention and drew me back into the book despite the concept. "When Andromeda woke, she was drowning."

The format of the book is quite unique, placing a definition first such as Etymology, to set the atmosphere of the chapter.

However, again, it is like any other book I've read where the concept begins with a person in cryonic sleep which just leads me to assume that the story line will be predictable. Why would I read a predictable book?

I'd rather read a book that doesn't copy other books of the genre which were successful. I don't want to read the same book over and over again. I want something new.

This book just isn't it for me

But that's just my opinion.

I judged a book by it's cover.
