Well this one was definitely not what I expected. I guess I didn't think I was going to love it but wow. Also it has a Holy crap moment at the end that although it didn't make me mad because the story does tie a lot of loose ends it does kind of end up in a bit of a cliffhanger as in I want book two right now. Which is good, I'm happy, it was a super awesome ending. I loved the characters and definitely disliked with a passion the villain. Many characters surprised me, in a good way. There is also a very sad moment that I don't want to spoil but I am still not OK about it.
I really loved the story. There was a bit of a romance going on, but a tiny little one. It does not take away from the story at all, but it sure made it more fun for me. I really loved Zhade, he was my favorite character. His personality was perfect.
