This is a really nice dystopian type of book, it had sci-fi elements and was set in a futuristic world that I found enjoyable. The main character and her mystery of why she was there kept me engaged in the book, along with the use of ‘magic’. The world was set up a bit different, but it was a pretty good mix of sci-fi/dystopian, which I enjoyed a lot.
I really enjoyed Zhade, at times a bit more than Andra(the MFC).
The romance between them was a bit bland, and after awhile I didn’t really care if they ended up together or not.
Overall, this was a book that was good enough to keep me entertained and engaged, but is kinda forgettable and is like ‘that was a good read, but I don’t know if I care enough to read the sequel’
The reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 3 is the twist towards the end with the MC, that I enjoyed quite a bit.
If you’re looking for a sci-fi/dystopian book that’s a nice easy read, this might be a good choice!
