The premise of this book was really intriguing to me. However, the writing and execution fell flat. I wound up DNFing the book 25% of the way through. The biggest struggle for me in reading the book was the made up language. It is supposed to be an evolved, futuristic form of English, but it was confusing to me and I did not understand what they were talking about. The rest of the plot that I did understand was slow and anticlimactic. For a dystopian world, there was not much of an explanation of how the world developed the way that it did. The characters did not have any depth or backstory to them and neither did the relationships. Nothing in the story gripped me enough to want to continue on. There are other books that I have since read that have done a better job with this concept. I even had bought a copy of this book, disappointed to be getting rid of it.
