The title and cover had me interested straight away, and now after reading through the sampler - I need to know what happens next!
With it set in a distant sci-fi future, that probably isn't too far off from building the 'bots story in our actual future... this is another scenario of what happens when something goes wrong, even when everything has been kneaded out by the best scientists. And I LOVE IT.
Following Andra upon waking up -twice- in this different world than what was promised when going into stasis; and finding out tidbits of what has happened to her and her people... its amazing. While the main character was confused trying to understand what was happening and to understand the language spoken by her 'worshippers', I felt confused as well, which is a great connection to have because its like you are actually there as Andra is coming to terms of it all.
Having the story switch between the main characters so far is great and a relief especially since it helps to understand the lingo a little more than if it stayed only in Andra's perspective. The writing is great, it gives enough to keep you interested, little bits to keep you curious and the characters I've already learnt so much about them and want to know more.
