I appreciate when chapters begin with information leading into the purpose of that particular chapter. In this case, the basic definition of what we'll find noteworthy.
It's also interesting how if it wasn't for the current pandemic we are going through in this world, I may not have found the first paragraph to be as intense. However, with the details of the lungs drowning and the small amounts of what we know of COVID-19, it was a bit triggering.
I still very much enjoyed the writing and where the story is going. I also find the cover to be absolutely gorgeous!!
