I myself do not read a ton of interplanetary sci-fi, although I love the topic and the genre, this sneak peak of "Goddess in the Machine" reminded me how much I love it.
Imagine if you were put into a cryogenic sleep, and scheduled to fly across the multiple universes and wake up 100 years later to establish your life on another planet, but something went horribly wrong and you woke up instead 1000 years later to a community that refers to you as a goddess. I know that I would be both confused and terrified. Andra, our main character while also terrified and confused uses her intelligence for both math and language to her advantage to try and piece together what happened. A strong and smart female lead in a YA Sci-fi, sign me up!
I would absolutely love to continue with this story, I was instantly drawn into the world and the characters of both Andra and Zhade, it is written like a YA novel which makes it an easy read, I would love to see where this story goes!
