Goddess in the Machine was very interesting from the start. The author does a good job creating a world of the future that the reader can speculate and become curious about. The main character Andra was relatable. I didn't like the speech patterns of the humans of the future but it is realistic that speech would change a great deal after so much time passes. I definitely wanted to continue reading after my sample of the book ended!
